A Scouting Report from Warrior Onela

I live in the world of a dying star. It hangs in the sky and one cannot miss its embers slowly cooling. Right above the horizon, the small brown star is fading. I traveled to the north to investigate an ancient stone keep. I can feel the blood pulsing on the sides of my temple.

The ancient stone keep stands before me. Sapphire-colored streams of flags hang loosely from the central tower. The slight calm breeze loosely shimmered the festooned gray building. I lower my sword hand to the hilt of my weapon. I’m not sure why I feel so unsettled...

This is a free test module! It is written with Cairn in mind, but I was also lovingly thinking of ADnD 2e. I will continue to revise this with maps and such soon. 

The overall story is inspired by the classic tales of Burroughs and Howard. I envision this as a series of vignette adventures that will explore a slowly dying world. 

This adventure is best played with a small beginning party.
